The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have hit a major bump as their star player, Devon Conway will miss the initial part of the IPL 2024. Conway needs surgery on his left thumb, which means he wonβt be playing for at least eight weeks.
The 32-year-old will undergo surgery on his left thumb, which he injured in the second T20I played in Auckland on February 23. The IPL is scheduled to take place on March 22, with defending champions Super Kings playing against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Conway missed the first test which ended on Sunday and following further medical examination, he has been advised to undergo surgery, which will take place later this week.
